"Amor fati" is Latin for "love of one's fate." This piece is a meditation on acceptance of how life unfolds. The roses are beautiful, but temporary. Do we only love them in their bloom? Red wolves are on the verge of extinction...seen through "amor fati," everything that happens in one's life, including suffering and loss, are necessary parts of the whole. With an acceptance of the totality of life, we choose to make it all beautiful.
