Self-taught artist Michael Rohner draws his whimsical yet realistic characters taking influence from comic book art, graffiti, animation, and surrealism. His animal totem series is an exploration of the wisdom of animals. Michael brings his colorful meditations to life using pen and ink on paper and layers in colors using any combination of water color, marker,  spray paint, goauche, oil pastel, colored pencil, paint marker, and so on for greater contrasting effect.
